Dear Resident,
One of our special constables has been back out on dedicated patrols in Peterborough as part of our Vision Zero campaign, focusing on stopping speeding vehicles, issuing advice and education in a bid to reduce deaths and casualties on the county’s roads.
So far this month, they have stopped 17 vehicles, including: 🚗Seven who were speeding in the city centre and Woodston, with the highest speed being recorded as 45mph in a 30mph zone 💡Numerous vehicles that had defective lights 📱One driver who was issued a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for using his phone while driving along the Paston Parkway at 40mph 🚌A bus driver who was issued a TOR after they ran a red light going from London Road onto the High Street in Fletton
You can find out more about road safety on our website.
Kind regards, | ||
